READ VERY CAREFULLY!

In order to ensure a pleasant experience for every Felsong community member, we strongly advise you to read and follow the rules below. Not knowing the rules is not an excuse to get out of punishments.

Please note that we reserve the right to modify any of these rules at any given time. While we will do our best to inform players about rule changes through our official channels, we still recommend checking the rules frequently for potential updates regardless.

Forbidden Actions

While playing on Felsong, the following actions are forbidden and will be punished with account and/or character suspensions as stated:

1. Advertising other private servers through any means
   Punishment: Permanent account suspension
    
2. Attempting to sell accounts, items, gold, currencies, services (i.e. boosting) or other in-game properties for real-world currency. This includes trading one account for another.
   Punishment: Permanent account suspension
    
   • Sharing accounts with other players without any form of payment involved is allowed. However, by doing so, you surrender any right of receiving support from our staff if the account gets stolen.
      
3. Wintrading in rated PvP instances (arenas and rated battlegrounds).
   Punishment:
   • First offense: 7 days account suspension for every involved account and removal of all wrongfully obtained progress
   • Second offense: 15 days account suspension for every involved account and removal of all wrongfully obtained progress
   • Third offense: Permanent account suspension for every involved account and removal of all wrongfully obtained progress
      
4. AFKing (non-participation) in casual PvP instances (skirmishes, random battlegrounds, brawls). This includes using bots, scripts, or other means to avoid being AFK flagged.
   Punishment: 7 days of Deserter debuff applied to the character
    
5. Pretending to be a Game Master or to claim that you have staff member friends who will favor you in any way.
   Punishment: 10 days account suspension
    
6. Abusing serious bugs (exploits) which grant unfair advantages over other players.
   Punishment: Account suspension ranging from 3 days to permanent, depending on the number of offenses and severity of bugs used
    
7. Multiboxing - You are allowed to play on up to TWO accounts simultaneously by switching between the windows ("alt-tabbing") - usage of external software to do so is prohibited. This does NOT apply in PvP Instances. Having more than ONE account active inside a PvP Instance (BGs, Arenas) is punishable.
   Punishment: 15 days account suspension for every involved account
    
8. Using cheats/hacks/bots of any kind.
   Punishment: 30 days account suspension
    
9. Creating guilds with offensive names.
   Punishment: Guild disband and 7 days account suspension for the guild master's account
    
10. Creating characters and/or pets with offensive names.
    Punishment: Character will be given a prompt to rename on their next login. Intentionally choosing an offensive name again will result in an account suspension depending on the severity of the name.
     
11. Scamming players through mail.
    Punishment: 30 days account suspension
     

Chat Rules

Furthermore, we will apply a chat restriction (referred to as "mute") to accounts that break the following chat rules:

1. Insulting other players or staff members (including but not limited to any kind of remark deemed as racist or discriminatory towards a race, skin color, culture, country, religion, gender, or sexual orientation).
   Punishment: 500-10000 minutes mute depending on severity
    
2. Bashing the server in any way regarding in-game bugs, restarts, rollbacks, downtimes, etc.
   Punishment: 500-10000 minutes mute depending on severity
    
3. Intentionally lying to staff members.
   Punishment: 3000 minutes mute
    
4. Excessively spamming chat channels.
   Punishment: Up to 10000 minutes mute depending on severity
    
5. Using languages other than English in the Global channel.
   Punishment: 30 minutes mute, may be extended for repeat offenders
    
6. Engaging in political discussions, including but not limited to topics such as world crises, wars, bombings, elections, policies, and political leaders.
   Punishment: 500-10000 minutes mute depending on severity

Please note that the punishments mentioned here are subject to change and may vary based on the circumstances and severity of the violations.
